The recurrence of my breast cancer led me to create what I desperately needed for myself. When I lost my hair again, no hat helped me feel like me. I wanted something natural, something comfortable, something that didn’t make me feel like I was wearing a costume.
So I designed it.
LizzieLu is my passion, a way to help women facing hair loss feel strong, beautiful, and seen. The custom patch designs by Amy Gordon Art add soul, peace, and meaning to every hat.
Before launching this brand, I spent 25 years in marketing, 14 years with PwC as Director of Midwest Marketing, and later at DOZ leading national marketing strategy.
Today, I live in Zionsville, IN, with my amazing husband, our twin teenage girls, and our middle-school son. They are endlessly supportive of LizzieLu… and fully prepared to take over the social media someday.
