First Class Crew

Every journey is better with the right crew beside you. The women on this page aren’t on our staff, but they’ve been with us from the start, lending their talents, sharing their expertise, and telling the world about LizzieLu. They’ve helped shape who we are and carried our message to women who needed to hear it. This page is our heartfelt thank you. Get to know the women who helped LizzieLu take flight, and who remind us every day that none of us has to navigate hair loss alone.

The Women Behind the Mission

Amy Arnell

Amy Arnell is the Director of Corporate and Community Responsibility for Republic Airways, where she leads strategic community investments and engagement initiatives. She aligns company resources with community needs to drive measurable social change. She also oversees corporate giving and nonprofit partnerships that align with the company’s pillars of philanthropic support.   Amy has been in aviation for her entire career but has been in the airline’s corporate philanthropy department for the last 9 years.  Her passion for helping others stems from her love of children and her own health challenges, including cancer.  During her time in this role, the company has received IBJ’s inaugural Fundraising Event of the Year award, American Cancer Society’s Corporate Impact award and was a finalist for Techpoint’s MIRA Community Impact Award.   Amy has also received the Indiana Wish lifetime award.

Kristen Dalhgren

Kristen Dahlgren is an award‑winning journalist turned breast cancer advocate and founder of the Cancer Vaccine Coalition. After three decades reporting major global stories for NBC News — including Emmy‑nominated coverage of the Parkland shooting and an Edward R. Murrow Award — Kristen’s life changed with her 2019 breast cancer diagnosis. She shared her story publicly to help women recognize diverse symptoms and soon discovered promising research on breast cancer vaccines. A conversation with Dr. Nora Disis at UW’s Cancer Vaccine Institute made her realize these vaccines were not theoretical but within reach. Determined to accelerate progress, she launched CVC, partnering with leading researchers to push safe, effective cancer vaccines toward market within 5–10 years. Her advocacy caught the attention of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, where she now serves as Chief External Affairs Officer, advancing the mission to cure cancer.
